THE DEVINE [ lit-er-jee ]
is a form of Eastern Armenian Church worship which began in early 300ad which reflects the life and teaching of Jesus. The ceremony is a celebration of 20 centuries of Christianity in Armenia. Its symbolism recalls the birth, the ministry, the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus. At it’s climax the liturgy reenacts the lords supper in the sacrament of holy communion.
What is most important is that The Devine Liturgy is a spiritual journey in which the participants receive Christ and are received by him with love.
